ITINERARY

Day 1 : Medan - Berastagi (Hotel Grand Mutiara or Hotel Sinabung)

Upon arrival at Medan Airport, our tour guide will take you to Brastagi via Sembahei. At Brastagi we visit Batak Karo, a traditional village and fruit market, afternoon check in to hotel.

Day 2 : Berastagi - Samosir (Silintong Hotel or Toledo Inn)

After breakfast drive to Parapat, on the way stop at Sipiso-piso waterfall, Rumah Bolon (Long House) the old Palace of Batak Simalungun Kings and Simarjarunjung for the view of the mammoth Lake Toba. Upon arrival at Parapat crossing to Samosir Island by ferry boat and arrival on Samosir check-in to hotel.

Day 3 : Samosir - Excursion

Following breakfast, our excursion to the interior of Samosir island in the vicinity of Toba Lake and visiting several Batak Toba traditional villages: Tomok (to see the old tomb of Sidabutar Kings), Ambarita (to see stone chairs and tables where once used as the execution site of Sialagan Kings), Simanindo (to see Batak Toba traditional dance /Tor-Tor and museum). At mid noon return back to hotel.

Day 4 : Samosir - Medan / Airport

After breakfast, we cross back to Parapat and then drive Medan via Pematang siantar, stopping at rubber and palm oil plantations as well as small tropical forest and local villages. The drive takes approx. 4-5 hours.  Upon arrival at Medan directly transfer to the airport for the departure by your mid noon flight. Tour ends.

Remarks :

• For participant until maximum 6 persons we will use a car for the excursion on Samosir island.
• For participant above 6 persons we will use Ferry Boat for the Samosir excursion .
